Use the specification recommended for your vehicle

Viscosity alone does not identify the correct engine oil. Always compare the manufacturer approval, SAE grade and ACEA or API specification shown in the vehicle handbook. Automatic transmissions, differentials and hydraulic systems can also require a specific fluid even when products look similar.

How do I choose the correct engine oil?

Check the vehicle handbook for the required manufacturer approval, viscosity and ACEA or API specification. Match all required values, not only the viscosity.

Can different coolants be mixed?

Only mix coolants when the specifications are confirmed as compatible. Colour alone is not a reliable guide.

What brake fluid does my car need?

Use the DOT type and manufacturer specification stated in the handbook or on the reservoir cap.
